Mississauga director Richie Mehta is gearing up for the Toronto International Film Festival this fall, and just in time, his charismatic film Amal that premiered at last year’s festival, is on screens here. Amal is showing at Toronto’s Varsity Theatre, 55 Bloor St. W. Sunday to Thursday, with shows at 12:50, 3:20, 6:55 and 9:40.
